These where perfect for the holidaysordered M, since I prefer loose fit it's perfect. Small was right like legging on thighsTheyre fine but too thin so definitely better for summer and warmer weatherI took one size larger then I would.. I’m usually size M and I took L, it fits perfectlyDefiantly not sized correctly.I normally do not like to buy clothes online, when I can't feel the material or try the pants on. I had had a run of good luck buying pants online sight unseen, so I was feeling confident and got these. It was a bad call. These pants are unforgiving on size, which is possibly an avoidable issue if you get the exact size. But beyond that the material is overly thin and clingy and the pants are unlined.Fit: Online size info is accurate but fit is unforgiving: These pants are unforgiving on fit. I got the size XXL which according to the size chart fits me with a little room to spare. The pants do run true to the size chart. On me, they hang slightly loose all through the thigh and leg. Nevertheless, there is a bit of camel toe, and generally, if they do not hang just right, they look unflattering and unprofessional. I fit all the listed dimensions - hip, waist, length. Those are great. But something is off and there is camel toe. So the fabric is loose to the side of my hips, then a bit tight in the crotch, and has that paper bag shape in an unflattering way. It's not so terrible. But it's not good to wear to work either. (For other paper bag style shorts I got, I liked them for looks but thought the crotch hung too low, so possibly there is a pick-your-poison element to the style.) I am beginning to think that paper bag style is a pants you want to try on first, to be sure of the fit.Size: Size chart is completely accurate. I got a 2XL and I would say it is like an average size 16 pants.Fabric and construction: These are made of a thin clingy fabric with no lining. The material is thick enough to not be see through (I got black which almost never would be trouble anyway). But it's just too thin. No one would ever make a mens pants in something this sheer. The fabric is to where I would not have bought the pants if I'd felt them first. Many womens pants are made of similar weight material, but I think it's no good. It's better to be picky up front and then be able to go in my clothes and throw whatever on and it fit well and look good. These are not like that, and they are not worth it. The construction is OK. Fabric is too sheer and clingy and will always show a panty line almost no matter what is worn under. But the sewing is fine. The waist is just a bit elastic and is pull on, so has to pull over your hips (which means size chart for hips must be exact). The waist has a wide elastic that will tend to stretch evenly and not pinch or make a bulge. Then the tie at the waist truly ties and runs through big oversized belt loops.Ties at the ankles... They are part of the style and I got the pants partly for the style. But if they come untied, it's a whole other thing to worry about. Shoes untied. Pants untied. It can happen. (They actually seem to stay put with a double bow and don't bother me when I'm walking around.)Pockets: This has pockets. They are shallow womens pockets, and would never be acceptable on a man's pants. A smartphone will not fit. Keys will fit fine. A wallet may or may not fit depending on size.Husband says these look fine for work. I do not like the sheer clingy fabric.Overall, I think the fabric these pants are made of is too sheer and clingy and they will always show a panty line. Also, the pockets are too small for a cell phone. So, I don't like them. The size chart was completely accurate, but the pants also are unforgiving on fit, so keep that in mind. Having gotten these, I do think that the cut is to where this style is something you should buy in person and try on, rather than shop online. I'm not sure if that's all paper bag style pants, but these definitely can hang better on some shapes than others, which is not a size thing but more like a shape and ratio thing. Anyway, even a perfect fit won't fix the sheer clingy fabric. These pants are super cute, and soft. The ties at the bottom are a nice accent, but I would rather them have been a little thinner and shorter, as these have to wrap around my legs once before I can tie them. I like the material, and I like the high waist. I am 5'3 and they were a good length for me.Okay, so these are pretty cute! They really remind me a lot of the paperbag pants from Eloquii, so that's really saying something. The fabric is somewhat like a medium weight crepe, so they don't wrinkle too badly, unlike their linen counterparts. What's more, the cut and fit is really fierce, and I love the little belts on the ankles and the waist. My only note is that these run a tiny bit small, comparatively. Size XL will fit a size 14, but no more. If you're larger, order up. Just do that, and you'll love these!
